and colombia road. police say several suspects took, quote, personal property from the 18-year-old griffin. a short time later, around 1:15 in the morning, griffin and at least one other man he knew ran into some of the same suspects who robbed him. >> an altercation ensued, which led to the stabbing and the assault of the other victim. >> reporter: a frightening ordeal for passengers who were inside the station at the time. one man spoke with fox 5 over the phone k. >> he created the -- here right because you think the situation is resolved when they come down and arrest another and another and another. >> reporter: he posted photos of the crime scene on twitter. the station was quickly placed on lockdown, passengers told to stay put on the platform while suspects were taken into custody around them. >> you see an officer walk by and a couple dozen feet from where you were, they arrest someone. >> reporter: police say surveillance cameras may have captured the crime. >> we're in the process of analyzing video with metro transit police to determine what, if anything else, was captured. >>
